During the rut, many of the bull moose gather in the plains of Jackson Hole to fight for their right to mate with a female. Watching this big fella for hours, he fought and toiled, finally emerging victorious at the end of his battles. I was lucky enough to capture this image of him standing on the hill, dominating his presence over all the smaller bulls he had overcome.
